Book
375 pages, 25 × 35 cm. More than 200 artworks and archival materials. A journey through an artist's life and work.
A bilingual Vietnamese–English publication tracing the life, creative practice, and legacy of Nguyễn Gia Trí — one of the defining figures of twentieth-century Vietnamese art.
Through carefully selected artworks, sketches, archival materials, and stories, the publication offers a deeper perspective on the artist who transformed Vietnamese lacquer from a traditional craft into a new artistic language.
The Collector's Edition is strictly limited to 80 copies worldwide; 40 in the US and 40 in Vietnam. The artist Yuroz created an etching available exclusively through this project. The etching pays homage to Nguyễn Gia Trí's tradition and style. Each etching is hand signed and hand numbered by the artist.
The Collector's Edition comes in a beautiful presentation box, hand-crafted in Vietnam using Japanese lacquer.
Price bands. The edition is released in bands. As each band sells out the next opens, so the earliest copies are the least expensive.
